Fox Business contributor Scott Martin has gone viral for spending $28 on an order for one person at Taco Bell. “You wanna know how bad inflation is? Yesterday, yes, I had a nice lunch at Taco Bell. Cost me about $28 at Taco Bell for lunch,” he shared during a segment on 10/12. Martin, who has probably never heard of a combo meal, attempted to offer some clarity on his pricey order by providing an order summary. It included a Burrito Supreme for $6.09, a Nachos Bell Grande for $7.14, a large Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze for $3.79, a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme for $3.19, and a Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch for $5.19. That’s a grand total of $25.40, not including tax. Many on social media questioned why Martin didn’t opt for a Cravings Box or even a combo.
